Movie Review: The Prestige
No Spoiler Included
Tonight I got off of work at 5pm so I decided to go see a movie. I went with my mom, dad, and my 88 year old abuelita. The last movie in theatres we all saw together was Forrest Gump in Corpus Christi. Anyway, I've been wanting to see this movie for a while now because I immediately knew it was going to be a movie I would like. Sometimes, I just know when I'm really gonna like a movie and those type of movies don't come along too often. The last movie I knew I was gonna like was "The Notebook." Although a chick flick, still one of my favorites.
I loved the movie because the whole time I was trying to figure out the magic tricks and the story of the movie too. It was one of those movies that was really hard to predict the ending. At first, I immediately thought the ending was cheap, but then after like 10 seconds, I thought it was a pretty good ending. I loved all the actors especially Christian Bale. After seeing this movie, he's probably one of my favorite actors. Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman and Michael Caine were good too but I thought Christian Bale was the best in the movie. And I have to say that my crush on Scarlett Johansson continues. Very curvy I must say. Piper Perabo's cameo was nice too, she's pretty cute.
I think I would consider myself a harsh movie critic, so the movie would probably be rated a little higher than what I'm about to rate it.
Based on a possible 10.
Rating: 7.5
