An Autobiography
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas by Paul and Irene (aka "Moms" and "Pops"). When I was kid, I wasn't a child who would yell and throw tantrums. I was quiet and just observe everything and everyone. I definitely wasn't one of those kids who would run around the table and up and down the aisles of a nice restaurant. I wasn't annoying kid. I suppose I should be thankful to my moms and pops for raising me with strict, but fair punishment and showing me that I should respect everyone and everything.
I went to Wonderland Day Care, then to Hope Lutheran for Pre-K and Kindergarten. I then went to St. Gregory's for 1st grade. Then, I went to St. Luke's for 2nd - 8th grade. I went to high school at Antonian College Preparatory. I went to Boston University for my freshman and sophomore years. I then transfered to University of Texas at San Antonio for the remainder of my college experience. And this is where I'm at now in my schooling life.
There's no way I could talk about everything that happened in my life so I'll do best to summarize. All through grade school, I played CYO Sports like "soccer," baseball, and basketball. The team was called the "St. Luke's Rattlers." I have to say that I was probably one of the better players at each sport. I was always good at school making good grades and usually just quiet. I had a best friend up to 7th grade when he went to another school. His name was Sam. Then I met Brian Dena, that queerbag was probably my worst best friend. Such a bad influence. Even to this day. I stopped playing those sports after elementary school. Then came high school.
At Antonian, I played golf, was in the school band, and in various other activities so that it would look good on my college applications. I still love golf today. My friends consisted of Brian, Daniel, John, and some that are probably not that important to list. I also had a girlfriend at the time named Allegra. The relationship had its ups and downs. And I believe to this day we were both too immature to handle a serious relationship. There's so much I haven't said about high school, but I suppose these were the highlights. Then came college.
Boston University. Wow. School of my dreams. Why? Probably because it was F*ing BOSTON. The Red Sox, the students, the city life, MY OWN LIFE away from moms and pops. My dream came true. Everything was great except school. At first it was tough, I thought I wanted to be a doctor. Man, I was wrong. I then decided to move on to business school and by that time financial aid wasn't a friend of mine and times were hard back home financially. So the best solution was to come back home and finish college at UTSA. But I have to say that I do not regret my time in Boston. I experienced alot of things. I had best friends: Bill, Kevin, and Gamboa, I learned to love two new sports: cycling and hockey, I was extremely religious for a semester, and I got to experience the Red Sox beat the Yankees and win the World Series. I also started to listen to a "soccer" show and today I support a "soccer" club in England because of that radio show. But probably the most influential thing that affected me was that I have to find who I am and I still don't know who I am yet. I'm still searching for that person. I'm searching for "Scott the ______." I have to fill in the blank. And that is where my life is picking up right now. I have to discover who I am.
So after transferring to UTSA. I'm currently taking some courses so I can complete my MBA in San Antonio. I also currently work at Star Furniture with my cousin in the Customer Service department. Work and School is tough, but somehow I find the tough regime of handling both is good for me. I suppose everything in life happens for a reason. Leaving Boston was tough for me, but I'm not going to let that define who I am.
