All My Expensive Shit Is Breaking
You know life is funny. The minute I started working and getting a bi-weekly paycheck, all my shit started breaking. So now, I have to replace everything. And after reading the short list of things, you might think . . . jeez, this guy should be thankful that he has these things and not complaining about replacing such nice things. I am totally grateful that I have these things, but ain't it a bitch that they broke!
1) iPod - Just stopped working; a new one costs almost $300.
2) PS2 - I messed it up because I thought I could fix it by taking the console apart; I just permanently damaged it. And to top that off, I had just bought a new $50 video game. Since the new PS3's come out in November, I figure I'll just get one of those but wait . . . those cost at least $500.
3) Computer Speakers - Must have gotten damaged when they were shipped back from Boston. New ones cost $150.
4) Car Speakers - They must have popped because my amp is producing too much power and my speakers can't handle it. When the robbers stole my car stereo, they took everything but they didn't steal my speakers and when my insurance was nice enough to replace everything, the new amp was more powerful . . . hence my old speakers were not able to handle the power of the new amp. I haven't priced any new speakers, but I'm going to take a shot at around $250 - $400.
So in total, everything could range between $1200 - $1500. Aint that a "B." And just when I wanted to get DirecTV so I could watch my "Spurs." Tottenham, that is.
